Who am I?
I was born in Sicily at the turn of the century, and as far as I can remember, I have always been drawn towards images and sounds.
Growing up, my main form of artistic expression was music: to this day, I still work as a recording artist, music producer and owner of a small indie label.
A few years ago, I was looking for a visual form of communication. I used to draw hyper realistic pencil portraits of friends, but that slowly faded away. I wanted to capture real life moments, not poses.
This search slowly led me to black and white photography: focusing on the essential elements of light, contrast and just being at the right place at the right time to catch a fleeting event and print it into an everlasting testament of a unique moment in time.

"The Road Photographer 2025" on the theme of street in black and white; a biennial photographic group show with 30 international photographers over three days in September organized at the exhibition gallery "AGF Art Gallery Finestreria" in Milan in the Navigli area.
